As a full-service kitchen design & construction company, we find there are 7 main steps that will carry you through to a Kitchen before Christmas – if you start now and to commit to the process.
Step 1 – In-home Consultation. One of our experienced designers will meet you to view the layout of your current kitchen and adjoining spaces. We will journey through a detailed ‘needs analysis’, taking the time to get to know you and how you will use your space, in order to develop a design solution tailored to your circumstances and wishes. We take detailed measurements and photos, critical aids in designing your new kitchen. Book yours now!
Step 2 – Custom Design – Armed with the information from Step 1, your designer will develop a design to the agreed brief, optimising the space, light, and functionality of your future kitchen.
Step 3 -Design Presentation. Using latest technology, will take you on a 3D visual walkthrough of your new kitchen design concept, where you can imagine yourself in new kitchen. We fully explain the scope of work required to deliver the whole project – including all the associated services. Unlike many other kitchen companies, we prefer to create detailed drawings and specifications, to ensure you receive an accurate detailed quote, not just an estimate. (1-2 weeks after your In-home Consultation)
Step 4 – Selections. When you decide to proceed with us, your designated Brilliant SA Designer will guide you through material and product selections. We will provide as much guidance as you would like. (1-2 weeks)
Step 5 – Lock in a start date. Final plans and specifications are produced once selections have been completed.
Your project typically starts 4-6 weeks from your approval of details. Working around you, we develop an efficient project schedule with guaranteed start and finishing dates. (1-2 weeks)
Step 6 – Your new kitchen installation begins. Your renovation is expertly managed by your own designated Brilliant SA building supervisor, who is your main point of contact throughout the build phase. He will coordinate the best trades available to ensure top quality workmanship, completed safely and efficiently, allowing you to carry on your daily lives with minimal disruption. Remember: We take care of all of the work and coordination.
Step 7 – Hand-over. Your brand-new Brilliant SA kitchen is professionally cleaned and handed over to you, ready to use. In addition to the usual warranties and instructions, you have our 10 Year Warranty and the ongoing commitment of the Brilliant SA team. Your only dilemma now: Deciding what to cook first!
When following a thorough approach to your new kitchen design and build, and with efficient management of all trades and processes, your new kitchen can take up to 16 weeks from an initial enquiry until you are cooking your first dish. And of course, we will always be upfront about any extra items that often add to your project timeline, such as Building work, structural alterations, stone benchtops or glass splashbacks.
