Located in Flagstaff Hill, our clients had committed to progressively renovating their double storey 80’s home. When it came to their master bedroom & ensuite, they had an oversized wardrobe and pokey ensuite. To make it more user friendly for the morning rush, we stole some space from the wardrobe by knocked out a walll and elongated the ensuite.
This ensuite is packed with dreamy designer and luxurious features. Most notably a show-stopping custom made 1800mm Australian Wormy Chestnut Timber Vanity sits front and centre. Our designer and cabinet maker worked closely with the clients to ensure it had just the right amount of rustic appeal. To keep the benchtop clean and clear gpo outlets were integrated into the black internal soft close drawers. Grey sinks with matt black feature textured tower mixers stand out beautifully against the warm timber.
Italia Ceramics green ceramic ‘Kit Kat’ mosaics were selected as a feature tile and offer the perfect juxtaposition against the 200×200 soft grey Décor matt porcelain floor tiles. Our clients had a lot of fun with their selections and decided on luxury fixtures and fittings such as the renowned Toto Neores Washlet toilet and the Synergii shower panel. This shower panel features 4-way shower function with shower head, handshower, waterfall outlet, 3 body sprays and progressive mixer. As an added creature comfort underfloor heating keeps tiles warm underfoot.
Being an entirely internal ensuite, ventilation and lighting were purposefully considered. A round exhaust with central light was placed over the shower to efficiently ventilate during shower & a round diffused skylight provides excellent daytime lighting. Overhead and under vanity lighting create task and mood lighting to suit any time of day or night.
The result is a design dream ensuite that is practical but oh so luxurious.
