Contemporary Classic – Glandore Bathroom & Ensuite Renovation
When our clients, a young professional couple with two small children, reached out to us, they had already gone through a stressful experience with another builder who was supposed to renovate their main bathroom and ensuite. They had chosen that builder after receiving a cheaper quote than ours, only to regret that decision later.
Once the project with the other builder began, they faced a poorly managed process and huge cost variations. They soon realised that wasn’t the renovation experience they had in mind, so they reached out to us, regretting not having chosen Brilliant SA from the outset. We were more than happy to step in and help them achieve their vision for their dream bathroom and ensuite!
For the main bathroom, our clients envisioned a child-friendly yet stylish space with a bath for the kids, more storage, and a cohesive look with the ensuite. We created an elegant colour palette with concrete-look tiles, a white gloss feature tile, and a timber double vanity and tallboy in Polytec Boston Oak. The result is a space that is both practical and stylish, perfect for the clients and their family.
One of the challenges we faced was to make the ensuite and walk-in robe bright and airy, as per our clients’ brief. We overcame this challenge by installing a skylight above the shower and using glossy tiles paired with subtle terrazzo to create a dreamy space. The light pendant was a perfect complement to the round mirror, and the timber vanity in Polytec Boston Oak matched the main bathroom’s cabinetry. The robe cabinetry also matches the rest of the cabinetry. Moreover, we installed underfloor heating for the colder months.
The clients were thrilled with how their newly renovated spaces have changed the way they live and relax at home. The main bathroom is now a child-friendly, stunning and practical space with deep vanity drawers that provide plenty of storage. They love their new ensuite and walk-in robe, a true parent’s retreat with an elegant look and feel. The Wi-Fi connected underfloor heating is the icing on the cake!
