The clients had a clear vision for their teenage girls’ bathroom renovation. They wanted a space that was both stylish and practical, and also cat-friendly. They wanted to improve the layout, create more storage, and brighten up the space. In addition, the powder room needed to match the rest of the house with luxurious high-end fixtures and fittings, a feature wall, and a pendant light fixture.
One of the biggest challenges in the girls’ bathroom was fitting a double vanity into the space. We solved this problem by removing the bathtub to create space for a large double vanity. To make the bathroom cat-friendly, we installed durable, easy-to-clean surfaces and a larger window for more natural light.
The warm and dark colour palette of the girls’ bathroom is complemented by the grey floor and wall tiles, which are paired with white, black, and timber features for a striking contrast. In contrast, the powder room boasts playful and lively pops of colour in its tiles and tapware. The stylish timber vanity adds to the modern and elegant look of the space. To ensure a unified design, we incorporated the same 3D feature tile selected for the ensuite, here in a different colour. The terrazzo rose floor tile was the perfect finishing touch to create a luxurious and inviting atmosphere.
The outcome of the bathroom renovation is exactly what the clients had envisioned. They love how the space functions, especially the deep vanity drawers with ample storage and the large shower that meets their needs perfectly. The powder room provides a soft and welcoming space with a beautiful feature wall and a pendant light fixture. The 3D tiles subtly connect the spaces, creating a cohesive look throughout the home. The clients are thrilled with how the renovation has improved their daily lives.
