Kingswood Full Home Renovation
Our clients are busy professionals with four children and four pets, they initially approached us with a project aimed at renovating their home for resale. They entrusted us knowing that with our proven process, we would handle every detail for them with minimal disruptions to their lives. This comprehensive full renovation project involved revamping over a dozen spaces of a 1920s bungalow whilst the family continued to reside at the property.
The homeowners let our expert team guide them in making their vision a reality. They wanted to modernise their home while keeping its elegant and classic twenties style. In addition, they needed plenty of storage for all the family with durable and easy-to-clean areas.
We collaborated closely with our clients and crafted interior design solutions that honoured the home’s original character while tastefully incorporating contemporary elements. The family resided on the property during the entire renovation, and we took measures that allowed for a sense of normalcy throughout the process. We divided the renovation into three stages and provided temporary facilities to ensure minimal disruption to their daily routines; including dust barriers and fences to ensure the comfort and safety of the entire family and pets.
TAILORED TRANSFORMATION of multiple spaces
Throughout the renovation process, we paid meticulous attention to each room in the house to cater for this family’s needs. From bespoke cabinetry with luxurious fixings to the incorporation of black metal accents for timeless elegance, each element was chosen to enhance the home’s aesthetic and functionality.
First and foremost, we repaired the foundation and structural issues of this century-old home, followed by upgrading the flooring throughout the house with materials that were both durable and in harmony with the home’s traditional style. We utilised solid timber oak flooring for most areas, complemented by carpeting in the bedrooms and lounge spaces for added warmth and comfort.
We continue by restoring the original architectural features, including architraves, mouldings, and ornate ceilings to preserve the home’s historical character. In addition to strategically placing lighting fixtures to create a cosy and inviting atmosphere, perfect for relaxation.
We transformed the entire house into a contemporary, bright and functional home. Above all, each space was tailored specifically for this family, reflecting their preferences and style. We maximised storage space and utilised sophisticated, durable and easy-to-maintain materials. In addition, each room has top-of-the-line fixtures and fittings for maximum comfort and elegance. This dedication ensured a seamless blend of old-world charm with modern comforts, resulting in a sophisticated home that reflects the unique tastes and lifestyle of its owners.
